| 6-8 weeks | First exam, first vaccines, deworming, fecal test |
| 10-12 weeks | Vaccine boosters, parasite prevention, behavior and nutrition check-in |

| 5-6 months and up | Spay/neuter consultation, dental check, growth review |
| 1 year | First annual wellness exam and vaccine boosters |
Vaccines for Puppies & Kittens
Vaccines are given in a series every few weeks until about 16 weeks of age, so your pet builds strong immunity.
- Puppies: Distemper, Parvovirus, Adenovirus (DHPP), and Rabies. Lifestyle vaccines such as Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Canine Influenza, and Lyme may be recommended based on risk.
- Kittens: FVRCP (Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) and Rabies. Feline Leukemia (FeLV) vaccination is recommended for kittens, along with FeLV/FIV testing.

Parasite Prevention
Fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, and heartworms are common in Texas and can make young pets very sick. We’ll start your puppy or kitten on year-round prevention that’s safe for their age and size.
Microchipping
Curious puppies and kittens can slip out an open door. A microchip is a permanent ID that greatly improves the odds of a happy reunion. It can be placed during a regular visit or during spay/neuter surgery.
Nutrition, Training & Behavior
Growing pets have unique nutritional needs. We’ll help you choose the right food, portion sizes, and feeding schedule. Our team also offers tips on house training, litter box habits, crate training, chewing, scratching, and early socialization, so your pet grows into a confident, well-adjusted companion. We also offer baths and nail trims, a great way to help young pets get comfortable with handling early on.
Planning for Spay & Neuter
We’ll talk with you about the best time to spay or neuter your pet, based on species, breed, size, and lifestyle.
