Vista Vet Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge

At Vista Vet Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge, we take great pride in providing top-notch veterinary and boarding services to Round Rock and the surrounding communities. As a privately-owned establishment, we are delighted to offer a personalized approach to veterinary care, understanding that there is no “one size fits all” solution. Our dedicated team assesses each patient individually, from vaccine protocols to anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and diet. We strongly believe in educating and communicating with our clients to develop the most effective and tailored healthcare plan for their beloved pets. Your pet’s well-being is our priority, and we look forward to being a part of their journey to optimal health.

Our Staff

Anton Roach

DVM, MS
Dr. Anton Roach is a native New Yorker hailing from the borough of Queens. He is not only a skilled veterinarian, but Dr. Roach is also an accomplished scholar. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University (ISU). After earning a Master of Science degree in Immunology from his alma mater, he continued his research and intensive studies, going on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from ISU.

Joni Horsley

DVM
Dr. Joni Horsley is a proud 7th generation citizen of the Lone Star State, born right here in Central Texas. She has a degree in Biomedical Science and her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, both from Texas A&M University. Since graduating in 2010, Dr Horsley has become known for her focus on communication and building a trusting relationship with her clients. Her goal is to catch problems early and keep pets happy, healthy, and together with their families. When Dr Horsley isn’t working, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband, her two beautiful babies, and her crazy Catahoula. You can find them hiking, camping, and discovering new adventures all around the world.

Celeste Nimmo

DVM
Dr. Nimmo grew up in Louisiana and has always enjoyed being around animals from an early age. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science, Animal Sciences in 2010 from Louisiana State University. She furthered her educational career at LSU by receiving her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She is a strategic problem-solver, and enjoys internal medicine cases. In addition, she really enjoys educating clients on the care of their pets and working to encourage the human animal bond. Dr. Nimmo enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, Dexter and Helen. When she is not spending time working, she enjoys traveling and trying new foods.

Tiffani Taylor

DVM
Dr. Tiffani Taylor is a native Oklahoman and received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in 2003. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Dr. Taylor followed her passion for animal care and the human-animal bond, obtaining her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2010 (Go Aggies!). Dr. Taylor has special interest in performing soft tissue surgeries and is passionate about educating her clients about the care of their furry companions. Part of what she truly enjoys is developing strong relationships with her patients and watching them grow from puppy/kittenhood to their senior years. Dr. Taylor has a very active home life and enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs (a Boxer and an Aussie mix). When she is not spending time with her patients, Dr. Taylor enjoys the outdoors with her family.

Jubilee Goodner

DVM
Dr. Goodner joined the Vista Vet team in May of 2020 while attending Texas A&M as a veterinary student. After graduating with her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees she joined the Vista Vet staff as a full-time veterinarian. She loves performing different surgical procedures and problem-solving complex cases. She is passionate about educating clients on the care needed for their pets, and highly values the human-animal bond. While not at work, Dr. Goodner enjoys fitness, including weightlifting. She loves spending time with her husband outdoors hunting & hiking. When not outside, they love watching Aggie Football and Formula 1 Racing while cuddling Waffles, their Great Pyrenees, who believes he is a lap dog. Dr. Goodner has always wanted to be a veterinarian. From a young age, she could be found in her backyard catching small animals to care for them. She has always been fascinated with how unique each species is and how modern medicine can help give the best quality and quantity of life for each and every animal. Dr. Goodner strongly believes that because animals are not able to speak for themselves, it is our job to be their voice.

Nicole W.

Licensed Vet Tech
Nicole’s career in the veterinary field started when she was 16 years old. She started out as an animal care taker in kennel at a local veterinary hospital in Las Vegas. As she furthered her development and education in veterinary medicine by becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She attended the College of Southern Nevada and graduated in 2009 with an Associate’s of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and is licensed in both Texas and Nevada.
